TopWare Interactive has released the multiplayer expansion pack for Two Worlds II that bridges the gap between the base game and the previous expansion Call of the Tenebrae. Titled Echoes of the Dark Past, the expansion will follow the player as he or she accompanies the doctor Lavarius to abandoned ruins in the Eastern Regions. Reportedly, a mine is located there filled with riches and possibly something a little more evil.
The multiplayer adventure will span three seperate zones, new magic cards, over three hundred new items, new item customization options, and updated weapon visuals. Non-quest equipment from the rest of Two Worlds II will also be made available through shops and chests. The expansion is now available on PC for $4.99/£3.99/€4.99.
