Atlus has put together a new trailer showcasing the combat of the upcoming remake Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology. The game's unique combat system places enemies on a three-by-three grid and gives players a suite of abilities that can manipulate the placement on enemies on that grid and gather them together for combos. By switching turns with enemies, characters can give themselves multiple turns in a row in which to trigger combos. More consecutive hits performed on enemies are rewarded with greater damage. These combos can be topped with devstasting traps, magical spells, new support skills, or devastating finishing attacks called Mana Bursts.
A remake of the 2010 Nintendo DS title Radiant Historia, Perfect Chronology features an updated art style, animated cutscenes, a third scenario, and the option to play with the original version of the game. The title will release on the Nintendo 3DS on February 13, 2018, in North America and on February 16, 2018, in Europe.
