In addition to the opening, Gust also introduced three more characters appearing in the game, as well as some new screenshots focusing on the combat and synthesis elements in the game. The first of the characters is Mireille Ferrié Adalett, she is the receptionist at Melveille castle and is in charge of the country's Atelier ranking system. As her surname suggests, she is also a member of the Adalett kingdom's royal family. The second character is Onett Marlen. She is Lydie and Suelle's mother but passed away three years prior to the game, with the twins keeping alive an important family promise for her. Finally, there is Grace, a nun at the Venue Church. Although she looks youthful, she is actually in her mid-50s.
Atelier Lydie & Suelle is planned for release in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch on December 21, 2017. A western release is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in early 2018.
