During the pre-show for the PlayStation Media Showcase at the Paris Games Week, a new trailer was unveiled for Final Fantasy XV's Episode Ignis DLC. The trailer, which contains spoilers from the main game, came with the announcement of a release date — December 13, 2017 — and that Yasunori Mitsuda is the guest composer for the DLC.
Episode Ignis is the third major piece of single-player DLC for Final Fantasy XV and follows Noctis' companion during the events of chapter nine in the main game. A multiplayer expansion, Comrades, is planned for release in early November, with a VR fishing spin-off, Monster of the Deep, due out on November 21, 2017. A PC release of Final Fantasy XV is planned for early 2018 and a mobile Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition set for release later this year.
