Atlus has officially unveiled Shin Megami Tensei V, the latest mainline title in the series. Previously teased during the Nintendo Switch presentation in January, the game will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch though a release date has not been given.

Shin Megami Tensei V looks to be set in modern-day Tokyo. In an interview with Famitsu, director Kazuyuki Yamai stated that the goal of the game is to examine the characteristics of the present day and that the keywords "Shekinah Glory" (or "miracle of God") will play an important role.
