Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the near-release South Park: The Fractured but Whole. The short video is a hype trailer that mostly serves to capture the tone of the game and the series' comedic sensibility.

The Fractured but Whole is the follow-up to 2013's The Stick of Truth, exchanging that game's traditional turn-based combat for a more tactical, grid-based version. The game picks up the day after its predecessor, where the New Kid is recruited to one of two superhero teams each bent on securing a movie franchise. The release date for the game is October 17, 2017, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
