Bandai Namco officially announced the latest title in the God Eater action RPG series, God Eater 3. Neither platforms or a release date were announced, but the game is confirmed for a worldwide release. Few other details about the game were revealed, though the announcement trailer indicates that dual-wielding will be included for the first time in the series.

God Eater 3 is the third mainline title in the series, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where beings called Aragami have overrun the world. Players control God Eaters, individuals with the power to wield God Arcs, the only weapons known to be able to defeat the Aragami. The company also announced a smartphone game for the series, God Eater: Resonant Ops, which will be free-to-play and has only been announced for Japan at this time.
