We return with the seventeenth edition of our series designed to help RPGamer cater to the ever-increasing number of indie titles that our staff regrettably does not have the resources to provide full coverage to. The idea of this column is to quickly pass on the word about certain games to our readers that they might otherwise not be made aware of, and we hope both readers and developers find this useful.
This edition of our indie update column features the following titles: Eden Falling, Vigilantes, Fall of Light, Destiny Chronicles, Age of Fear 3: The Legend, and Shadows of Adam.
Brief Updates:
My Time at Portia (16th edition) developer Pathea Games announced it is teaming up with publisher Team17 to release the game.

Tanzia (6th edition), another game currently in Early Access, will also be coming to Nintendo Switch in December 2017.
Eden Falling
Razor Edge Games announced that its upcoming title Epocylipse the AfterFall has been renamed to Eden Falling. Originally announced at the beginning of 2016, Eden Falling takes place on a post-apocalyptic world after an asteroid brings vast changes and new dangers to the environment. The game is turn-based and aims to emulate tabletop RPGs. Players will be able to play solo or join up with many others online. Eden Falling is being developed for PC and does not currently have a release date.
Vigilantes
The Steam Early Access version of Timeslip Softworks' Vigilantes is available now for PC, Mac, and Linux for $11.99/€11.99/£9.29, with a 10% discount available until October 12, 2017. Set in the crime-addled Reiker City, Vigilantes is inspired by 1990s turn-based strategy titles and follows Sam Contino as he assembles a team to assist his crusade on crime. Vigilantes'initial Early Access version is expected to include roughly 50% of the content, with the game expected to be fully released in Q2 2018.
Fall of Light
Dungeon-crawler Fall of Light is out now for PC and Mac via Steam priced at $14.99/€14.99/£10.99. The game features action-based combat with multiple weapon types and combat stances.
Destiny Chronicles
Developer Visualnoveler has begun a Kickstarter campaign for its fantasy action RPG Destiny Chronicles. The game stars Celeste, a young woman aspiring to become a knight of the Ashen Order. As part of her quest she is required to track down the thief of an artifact, joining forces with others while doing so. Visualnoveler is looking for S$54,400 in funding by November 3, 2017, for the game, which is planned for release on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
Age of Fear 3: The Legend
Age of Fear 3: The Legend is the latest game in the series created by a small team of developers and was recently released for PC, Mac, and Linux through Steam. Priced at $19.99/€19.99/£14.99, the game blends turn-based tactical RPG combat and tabletop wargaming. Players can go through two story-driven campaigns, controlling either a dryad sorceress or a drunken dwarven lord.
Shadows of Adam
Something Classic Games has announced Guild of the Artificers, a DLC pack for its tribute to classic JRPGs Shadows of Adam, which released early this year for PC, Mac, and Linux. Guild of the Artificers will be released on October 24, 2017, and adds in a New Game Plus mode, a battle arena, crafting and equipment purchasing options, new bosses, and a new challenging dungeon.
