Marvelous, the Japanese developer behind the Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons agricultural RPGs, has announced that Story of Seasons: The Tale of Two Towns+, a remake of one of the series' earlier games, is heading to the 3DS. The original game, known as Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, released in Japan in 2010. The new iteration will be receiving improved controls, as well as StreetPass functionality to exchange items with other players. An introduction trailer for the new version, viewable below, has also been released.
Story of Seasons: The Tale of Two Towns+ has not currently been confirmed for any release outside of Japan. The 3DS-exclusive will be available on December 14, 2017, and should cost ¥3,980, approximately $35/€30.
