Developer ConcernedApe recently revealed the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release dates for its farming sim Stardew Valley. The game will come to PlayStation 4 in North America on December 13, 2016, before coming to Xbox One globally and to PlayStation 4 in Europe a day later on December 14, 2016. The developer also announced that it will no longer be releasing the game on Nintendo Wii U, but will instead release it for the new Nintendo Switch console. No release period for the Switch version was provided.

Stardew Valley is a farming sim inspired by series such as Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons. The game was originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux through Steam earlier this year.
