THQ Nordic has officially released Darksiders: Warmastered Edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Wii U version of the game has not yet been released and there is no word yet from THQ Nordic about the status of that version. The PC version release set to release on November 29, 2016.

Darksiders: Warmastered Edition is budget remastering of the original 2010 title that has the player assume the role of War, the Horseman of the Apocalypse, who brings about said apocalypse a bit too early. The game plays as an action-oriented homage to The Legend of Zelda. The remaster comes with native 1080p resolution, reworked graphics, and 60 frames per second gameplay. The PlayStation 4 Pro and PC versions will also come with optional 4k resolutions.
