Square Enix has released new screenshots and a trailer for its upcoming 3DS game Final Fantasy Explorers. All of this media, which can be found below, focuses on the game's multiplayer. Up to four players can join over local wireless or Wifi to battle powerful monsters and Eidolons. The trailer in particular shows a few classic Final Fantasy jobs classes such as the Knight, Monk, White Mage, and Time Mage.

Final Fantasy Explorers has players creating their own characters and fighting powerful monsters either by themselves or in a party with two to four other people. Players can also transform into classic Final Fantasy characters. The game will be released in North America on  January 26, 2016 and Europe on January 29, 2016. A collector's edition was also announced containing a CD soundtrack, quests that grant players classic Final Fantasy weapons, an art book, and a 3DS travel case.
