Canadian indie developer Dragon Slumber announced that it plans to release its debut title, Arelite Core, on PC via Steam next year. The game is planned for a full release in Q3 2016, but there will be an early demo available from January 20, 2016. With the announcement of the release period, Dragon Slumber put out a new trailer for Arelite Core, which can be viewed below along with some screenshots.

Arelite Core is inspired by classic turn-based JRPGs, and stars the blacksmith Karden. Hailing from the mountains of Arreal, Karden becomes involved in the effort to stop the supporters of Talameq — an entity that wishes to devour the world — from restoring their master's power.
