Sony announced during the PlayStation Experience Keynote that Level-5 is making Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The game is sequel to a PlayStation 3 game Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and features a new cast of characters.

Ni no Kuni II will follow the story of Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum, the boy king of Ding Dong Dell ousted in a military coup, as he attempts to reclaim his throne. Helping him along the way is a mysterious man named Roland, who hails from another world. No further details were given for the game nor was any release period announced.
