Continuing the trend of localizing dungeon-crawling RPGs for the PlayStation Vita, NIS America announced that it will be bringing Stranger of Sword City to North America and Europe in Spring 2016. The game is developed by Experience Inc., who were responsible for previous Vita RPGs Demon Gaze and Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy.

Stranger of Sword City follows the player as their plane flight crashes after travelling through a mysterious portal. Surviving the crash, the player finds themselves in the land of Escario where they have been marked as The Chosen One. From there on out the player must navigate dungeons and deal with the many factions of the land while they search for the way home.
