Halloween may have just passed us by, but Hungarian developer Neocore Games is sending forth a call to arms to all would-be monster hunters with the imminent release of its trilogy of action-RPGs, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut. Collecting all three previous episodes of the Van Helsing hack-and-slash dungeon crawlers into one continuous narrative, and incorporating a casketful of additional content, Final Cut aims to offer something for seasoned monster hunters and newbie demon slayers alike.
Featuring a younger version of the stuffy professor, this new incarnation comes equpped with hand cannon, magical abilities, while he flips and leaps with the best of them. Set in the gothic steampunk-inspired land of Borgovia, the Van Helsing trilogy features six distinct character classes to choose from, each with an extensive skill tree, and over fifty total hours of gameplay in its campaign. Accompanying Van Helsing on his quest is the beautiful and ghostly specter of Lady Katarina, his stalwart battle companion. Together, the two must fact off against over 300 unique monsters, and cleanse the land of evil in all its many forms.
Final Cut does more than simply collect the three previous games into one package. A wealth of endgame content is included as well, in the form of additional missions, multiplayer gameplay (co-op or PvP), both tower defense mini-games and a resistance management simulation. Current owners of the trilogy will receive the upgrade to Final Cut for free; newcomers to the series can have it all at a price point of $44.99. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut hits Steam's digital shelves on November 6, 2015.
