From Software has announced that PS4-exclusive RPG Bloodborne, which was previously scheduled for a February 26 release, has now been moved back to March 24 in North America and March 25 in Europe. Citing player data and feedback received from the recent alpha test as the reason for the delay, the company also promised additional news on the game early next month.

A spiritual successor to the Souls series, Bloodborne takes place in Yharnam, an ancient city cursed with a mysterious endemic illness that has spread through the population. The game will feature gameplay similar to the Souls series, only with fast-paced combat, as well as a wider array of weaponry and a health regeneration system to complement the more aggressive combat style.
