After a few months' hiatus, RPGamer's crowd-funding check-in feature has returned to highlight the campaigns for a couple of titles that may be of interest to our readers. The edition features a couple of titles: Everstar from Psycho Sorted, and Rogue Wizards from Spellbind Studios.

Everstar
Developer: Psycho Sorted

Psycho Sorted features a number of staff members with experience in RPGs and other games, with experience working at companies such as EA, BioWare, and Blizzard. Its first game is an RPG titled Everstar for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, which promises a fully-3D action RPG with the ability to play its campaign using online co-op.

The game features real-time combat using a party of up to six characters, but gives player the ability to pause and give orders, jump between characters at any time, or to revert to a tactical camera and let the AI battle things out. Online co-op allows the host to bring in up to five other players and assign character control and pausing rights as they see fit, with the host taking control of any story decisions.

Everstar is stated to feature many choices throughout the campaign, some requiring a reactionary decision within a time limit. Decisions made are stated to affect the characters and story in many ways, even resulting in changing to their physical in-game models.

Psycho Sorted is looking for $850k in backer funding, with the campaign end date set for November 16, 2014. The cheapest pledge that rewards a digital copy of the finished game is set at $30 (with a limited amount set at $25). Stretch goals at the time of writing feature an orchestrated soundtrack at $900k, full voice-acting at $950k, and a female version of the main character at $1,050k. Its estimated delivery date is currently set for April 2016.

Rogue Wizards
Developer: Spellbind Studios

Spellbind Studios also features a number of staff members with experience in the games industry, including at EA, Blizzard, and Activision. Rogue Wizards is its first title, and is a fantasy roguelike RPG for iOS, Android, PC, and Mac.

The game see players take the role of a wizard and explore randomly-generated dungeons. Each dungeon is home to many traps, treasures, puzzles, and evil minions. Away from the dungeons, players will also be able to build up their hometown, adding various vendors to supply them with various equipment and crafting options, with larger towns also allowing players to explore dungeons further away.

Spellbind Studios is looking for $70,000 in backer funding, with the campaign end date set for November 12, 2014. The cheapest pledge that rewards a digital copy of the finished game is set at $15, with no stretch goals set at the time of writing. Its estimated delivery date is currently set for March 2016.

Please note that RPGamer's crowd-funding coverage is solely at staff discretion.
