EA has made the PC version of BioWare's fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Origins free for a limited time on its Origin store. Those looking to pick it up can add the Standard Edition to their Origin game library for free up until October 14, 2014 and can either download it immediately or at a later date.
Dragon Age: Origins is the first game in the series and was originally released in November 2009. It features a player-created character with multiple potential backgrounds joining the Grey Wardens to help fight off a Darkspawn invasion. The third game in the series, Dragon Age: Inquisition, is due to be released for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 18, 2014 in North America and on November 21, 2014 in Europe.
