Having previously announced the date for Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster on PS3, Square Enix has revealed that the release of the collection for Vita will take place on the same day, March 18, 2014 (March 21 in Europe). The collection will cost for $39.99 in North America (European pricing was not announced), and feature cross-save functionality.

Both PS3 and Vita versions will be available to buy physically and through PSN, however, the physical Vita version will only include the first game on the card and come with a PSN download code for X-2. A Collector's Edition for the PS3 version was also announced for North America, containing a 40-page hardcover artbook, a visual soundtrack Blu-ray, and five lithograph art cards. The edition will be available exclusively through Square Enix's Online Store, for $79.99.
