Bethesda has recently announced the launch date for its upcoming MMO The Elder Scrolls Online. The game will be released for PC and Mac on April 4, 2014. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will come out a few months later, some time in June 2014. Accompanying this announcement is a new
gameplay trailer which focuses on the game's PvP system. The trailer shows several characters embroiled in a massive battle.
Another video was also released detailing the character progression system in The Elder Scrolls Online. In it, lead gameplay designer Nick Konkle describes various ways players can build and customize their characters for combat. Not the least of these aspects are the many skill lines available to players depending on the race and class of their characters, what weapons and armor they equip, and those found while progressing through the game.
