Square Enix has released new media for the upcoming second sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, Lightning Returns, on the game's official site. Both a new trailer and set of screenshots were provided, which can be viewed below. The trailer gives an introduction to the game's end-of-the-world premise and a first look at Lightning's brand new outfit, as well as some glimpses of exploration and combat. It has also been revealed that Final Fantasy XIII-2 composers Masashi Hamauzu, Naoshi Mizuta, and Mitsuto Suzuki have all returned to work on the soundtrack to Lightning Returns, which is due out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2013.
