Level-5 has recently announced that it will release the RPG Crimson Shroud on the 3DS's Nintendo eShop. It was initially released in Japan as part of a four-game compilation called Guild 01 for the 3DS. Crimson Shroud was created by Yasumi Matsuno of Tactics Ogre and Vagrant Story fame and it "reimagines the table top RPG, and puts the power of the dice in the player's hands to determine their fates," according to the press release.

Crimson Shroud along with two other games from Guild 01, the sci-fi shooter Liberation Maiden and the simulation game Aero Porter will be released on the Nintendo eShop some time during Fall 2012 in North America. Crimson Shroud will hit the eShop in Europe in December 2012.
