Atlus has announced that Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan will be journeying to North America in 2013. This entry introduces the dungeon-crawling series to the Nintendo 3DS and contains several graphical and gameplay enhancements.

Along with using 3D graphics, the game introduces visible monsters on the map, eliminating the famous orange blobs that once indicated the presence of a (boss monster) F.O.E. In addition, new classes, skills, and game systems are available. Players will be able to explore the skies in a hot air balloon, which will allow them to discover new caves. There's even a "casual mode" for those who find the traditional Etrian gameplay to be too hardcore.
