Nintendo Europe has recently confirmed its release line-up for the first part of 2012, which contains a few entries of interest to RPGamers in the region. While RPGamers may have already been informed of the release windows for The Last Story and Pandora's Tower, the line-up also reveals that the DS sequel to the RPG-football hybrid, Inazuma Eleven, will be releasing in Europe in Q1 2012.
Taking place directly after the events of the first game, Inazuma Eleven 2 sees players once again take control of the Raimon Junior High School football team. Inazuma Eleven 2 will come in two versions, currently named Firestorm and Blizzard, although these are subject to change. The main difference between the versions is the identity of the main rival team, who will be either fire or ice-based respectively.
