Spiderweb Software is gearing up to release the MacOS version of Avernum: Escape from the Pit, and it turns out that the game's newly revealed release date is very close. Mac users will be able to purchase the game starting December 9. The Windows and iPad versions of the game will follow in April.

Avernum: Escape from the Pit is the remake of the original Avernum, which was itself a remake of Exile: Escape from the Pit, Spiderweb Software's first game, which was originally released back in 1995.
