Despite a subtitle that sounds a fair bit like that of another upcoming game, King's Bounty: Warriors of the North is an all-new entry in the King's Bounty series. It follows the warrior Olaf, a prince of the Northern Lands of Endoria, as he fights to free his home from the grips of necromancy. Together with his companion valkyries and his army of warriors and creatures, Olaf must travel throughout his continent and wrest back the land from the undead nightmare.

The King's Bounty games are tactical RPGs in which the player controls a single hero with an army of troops. Gameplay largely consists of collecting resources, doing quests, and fighting turn-based strategic battles against enemy armies. Warriors of the North features a new land, new story, new units, new skills, and a new school of magic called Rune Magic. It is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2012.
