CDProjekt RED held a press conference yesterday to introduce fans to the content of the various editions of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. There are a variety of editions available for the upcoming game, including a DRM-free digital version available on CDProjekt's Good Old Games service.

The Witcher 2 boasts a plus-sized physical Collector's Edition, which includes such highlights as a 200-page art book, a set of in-game based poker dice, a deck of cards, and a marble imitation bust of Geralt. The full collection of CE items can be viewed on the official site, and will be priced at $130.

The basic version of the game, which is being called the "Premium Edition," includes a number of additions such as the soundtrack and making-of discs, and a few other goodies such as a map and coin for those who buy the physical retail version. The Premium Edition can also be purchased in digital format, and includes PDF versions of the physical swag from the physical edition. Different retailers have different pre-order bonuses for the game. Of note is GoG.com's version, which includes a free copy of a classic RPG from GoG's catalogue (customers can choose one of five possible games) and an exclusive PDF art book.
