BioWare's newest trailer for Dragon Age II begins to set up the game's story. Players can catch a glimpse of Varric, one of the main character's companions, who is being harangued by Cassandra, a Chantry Inquisitor who wants to know the real story of the legendary Champion of Kirkwall.

As we reported last week in our Dragon Age II Information Roundup, the game's story will be told as a framed narrative, allowing players to shape various important periods in the Champion of Kirkwall's life as Varric relates his tale to Cassandra. Accordingly, the trailer shows various vignettes of the Champion's life, including a victorious sword-raising moment and a possible love interest.
