2K Games has unveiled the second downloadable content pack for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC co-op action-RPG Borderlands. The first pack was a fairly standard expansion that added a new area, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned. The second pack, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, adds three new Riot Mode arenas that will provide survival-style challenges.

Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot will also add a bank feature, which will let players hang on to more of the millions of weapons found in Borderlands. Characters can also be improved further in the second DLC pack with two additional skill points being added as quest rewards. Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot will be available for download on the Xbox 360 for 800 Microsoft points on December 29, 2009, and on the PlayStation Network for $9.99 on January 7, 2010.
