At a Square Enix press conference today that was supposed to be in honor of another of its Dragon Quest titles, Yuji Horii let slip another startling bombshell: the as-of-yet unannounced Dragon Quest X will be making its way to the Wii.

Mr. Horii reportedly made the comments while onstage to introduce Dragon Quest IX. He said "We're developing Dragon Quest X on the Wii!" to which Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's head honcho, replied "Thank you very much for developing Dragon Quest X on the Wii!" Mr. Horii then apparently realized what he had said and went back to talking about Dragon Quest IX.
