Square Enix announced today that the company will be bringing Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker over to Europe and other PAL territories. The game is set for a European release some time in early 2008. John Yamamato, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, "After the great success of Dragon Quest since we introduced the series to Europe, I am extremely happy that we are now giving fans a chance to enjoy Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker on the Nintendo DS."

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker is a monster hunting game with over 200 monsters to collect, synthesize, and battle. Players can also compete with friends in monster battles via the DS Wireless Communication, or go up against other gamers from around the world via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker was released last year in Japan, but will also be coming out soon on November 6 for North America.
