Aussie gamers wanting to get their hands on the latest installment in the Final Fantasy series will have to wait a bit longer than their friends from other countries. Though the game was released in Japan in mid-March and is coming to North America at the end of the month, gamers in Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium, and Iceland will have to wait until early next year when it is distributed by Ubisoft in those territories.
Though Square Enix normally publishes in house for most countries, Ubisoft has been known to handle European and Australian releases with the next one being Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, which will hit shelves down under in November.
