Konami Digital Entertainment of America has announced that it will be rereleasing two of its long out-of-print Game Boy Advance Castlevania games. Both Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow will see new unlife with the Castlevania Double Pack, a compilation for the GBA including both games on a single cartridge.

Harmony of Dissonance stars Juste, a member of the legendary Belmont family of vampire-hunters, as he seeks his beloved in a mysterious castle, alongside his best friend Maxim. Along the way, he will need to acquire powerful relics left behind by Dracula himself. Aria of Sorrow, meanwhile, stars high school student Soma Cruz, who is forced to fight for his survival when he is transported to a mystical castle during an eclipse in the 21st century. The game is the predecessor to the Nintendo DS's Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow.

Said Konami's Dennis Lee, "Combining two of the most beloved chapters in this long running franchise together onto one cartridge provides gamers a great value as well as giving newcomers to the series a convenient way to experience some of the best of what Castlevania has to offer." Castlevania Double Pack is slated for a release in Europe in February of 2006, while North America must suffice with the somewhat vaguer timeframe of first quarter 2006.
