EA Games has announced that its newest title, Lord of the Rings: Tactics has shipped to stores across North America. This PSP strategy RPG has an MSRP of $49.99 and was rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB.

Using EA's newly purchased rights to the literary works of J.R.R. Tolkien, the developers looked to create a game that looks like the films while immersing fans in a world that will feel almost new to them. Players have the chance to play as a dozen heroes and villains from the series as they try to rule over the world of Middle-earth.
