Konami has announced that it has shipped its PlayStation 2 strategy RPG, Suikoden Tactics to retailers across North America. Suikoden Tactics is a spinoff title in the long-running Suikoden series, specifically taking place in the same time and region as Suikoden IV, with many characters from the previous title returning. Unlike the main games in the series, however, Suikoden Tactics features a tactical style of gameplay heavily reliant upon elemental squares.

The first run printing of Suikoden Tactics comes packaged with a limited edition soundtrack CD featuring arranged music from the entire series. The game, which was released in Japan under the title Rhapsodia, has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $39.99 and an ESRB rating of "T" for Teen.
