In the latest issue of Famitsu Magazine, Square Enix has finally let the cat out of the bag regarding Seiken Densetsu 4's previously unannounced platform, and the World of Mana game will be gracing none other than Sony's PlayStation 2. The announcement confirms widespread speculation based primarily on the game's usage of the Havok physics engine.

No other information regarding the game was released, and while its platform may finally be known, a concrete release date remains a mystery. By contrast, Seiken Densetsu 4's companion title in the project, Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana, will see a Japanese release this coming winter.
