Speed Hackers Banned from World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft officials announced three days ago that players using "speed hacks" will be banned and have their accounts will be closed. The hack illegally raises character walking speed, which allows them to accomplish tasks faster than normal. They have also stated that using cheats or hacks are in violation of their Terms of Use and that there will be zero tolerance for such actions.

Some of the players using this hack have already been identified and punished. This announcement will serve as a final warning to others who are currently using the hack. World of Warcraft officials are stressing that they do not nor will they condone any use of cheats or hacks. If you are caught, officials are saying there will be no notice before you are banned.
