Xenosaga Episode II North American Site Launched

Namco sent out an email this week to fans alerting them to their recently opened the official site for Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose. Sections within the site give fans the ability to read more about the game, watch trailers, view screens, peruse wallpapers, sign up to receive email updates, and to register the game after it's released after the now-official release date of February 15.

The first 1,000 fans who sign up for email updates are entered in a contest which gives them a chance to win a memory card with saved games, leveled-up characters, and clear data that will unlock special features in Xenosaga Episode II. Within the next few weeks, Namco plans to open up more of the site to fans, including:

• Enhanced flash site - This will take fans on a flash-animated journey through the Xenosaga universe.
• More contests - Searching the site could open up new areas for fans soon, as well as enter them in new sweepstakes.
• Mobile ringtones and more wallpapers
• Fan site kit - Namco plans to open a Fan Site Hall of Fame in the future to rank the best fan creations.
