Uematsu Working On New Black Mages Album

Nobuo Uematsu, the man behind the soundtracks to a plethora of Final Fantasy titles, is at it again. A page on Square Enix's website has revealed that Uematsu and company are working on a second Black Mages album entitled "The Black Mages II: The Skies Above." The page in question contains two sample tracks as well as a video of Uematsu and the band.

The first Black Mages album, released in February of 2003 in Japan, featured "Rock" remixes of various Final Fantasy tracks with Nobuo Uematsu himself on keyboard. In April 2003, a two-day concert was held in Tokyo, Japan, to commemorate the album.
