Enix has divulged new storyline details regarding their upcoming PlayStation 2 title Star Ocean: Till The End of Time. The main characters will find themselves in the middle of a war between two kingdoms who previously lived in harmony - Aligiv and Shihaz.

Aligiv, a militaristic nation in a mountainous region, uses its horse cavalry, heavy cavalry, and assault division to invade Shihaz, an agrarian theocracy also known as the "Kingdom of Sages." The people of Shihaz are primarily agricultural, and they are loyal devotees of the religious teachings of Apris. The objective of the player is to end the persistent conflict between the two kingdoms.

The release date of Star Ocean 3 is set for sometime in February 2003. Due to delays, the North American release date has yet to be confirmed.
