Rune II Headed Overseas Under Different Name

FromSoftware and Activision have confirmed the North American release of Lost Kingdoms II, the sequel to the Nintendo GameCube hit Lost Kingdoms (also known as Rune in Japan).

The storyline of this action RPG takes place 200 years after its predecessor in the kingdom of Argwyll. Players assume the role of a heroine with the gift to summon powerful creatures through mystical cards as well as transform into the creatures themselves to solve puzzles and destroy enemies. The adventure boasts of 26 3D worlds to explore and 100 new cards to summon in real-time battles against the forces of evil. Lost Kingdoms II also features a new battle arena for single player endeavors or multiplayer challenges in the versus mode.

Lost Kingdoms II for GameCube is set to be released next spring. RPGamer will bring any new information and media concerning this upcoming game as it becomes available.
