Namco has set a release date for its upcoming PlayStation 2 RPG, Venus & Braves. The title, which features a strategic battle system and both online and single-player modes, is now slated to be unleashed on Japan this coming February. There was no exact date given for the game's release, but this is not terribly surprising, given this is the first estimate Namco has provided for its release.

Venus & Braves will retail for 6800¥, or roughly $56.00 US. There was also mention on the game's homepage of a deluxe box edition; however, no specific details were available at this time. There has also been no mention made of a North American release, and with the first title in this series' status as a Japan-only title, hopes are not currently high that one will be announced.
