Recent news has indicated that a new mysterious MMORPG for the Microsoft Xbox is being developed by Rare. It is also reported that the development team is composed of experienced members who have worked on other well-known Rare games, including Conker's Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark, and GoldenEye 007.

Regarding the setting, gameplay, and other salient data, no other information is available. While Rare has recently copyrighted the trademarks Gnomeman, My Garden, and Amazing Garden, it is unclear whether they could belong to the upcoming MMORPG or other projects.

The MMORPG has been in development at Rare for over two years, and it was formerly headed for the Nintendo GameCube before being redirected to the Xbox. With this much progress on the game already, it could be unveiled at E3 2003 or even sometime before then.
