Midway has announced that its latest role-playing game, Shadow Hearts, has shipped to stores across North America. The game was developed by Sacnoth, the same team that previously worked on the game's predecessor, Koudelka. Set in early 1900's China and Europe, the game tells the tale of a shape-shifter named Yuri who aids Alice, the target of an attempted kidnapping.

"With its rich character-driven storyline and compelling fantasy-style RPG gameplay, we expect Shadow Hearts to impress and entertain gamers in North America," said Helene Sheeler, vice president of marketing, Midway.
