KnowWonder's Game Boy Color RPG, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, has shipped to North American retailers. The game will be available in stores on November 16th, the same day the of the movie's debut. The game will be published by Electronic Arts, and will ship alongside three other versions for the PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, and PC.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone will follow a traditional RPG format, wherein the player will traverse dungeons and defeat monsters for experience points. Players will also be able to collect Wizard Cards, and trade them with friends via link cable. One will not be able to collect all of the cards in a single play through, so link cables are a must if this mini game is to be completed.
