Since the announcement of the Game Boy Advance, gamers have been salivating at the prospect of playing some decent 2D RPG again. Today marks the onset of what is sure to be a monster run of RPGs for the handheld. Golden Sun, Camelot's much touted return to the genre, has shipped to stores across North America, and should be available for a MSRP of $34.99.

The game follows the journey of a boy named Isaac, who must save his friends and oppose insidious forces that aim to release the guarded secrets of alchemy back into the world. The game features RPG gameplay mainstays, but promises to avoid being mired in the past. Look for our full review of the game shortly.
