With the continuing rise of massively multiplayer online games, Ubi Soft Entertainment has launched ubi.com. Designed for the online play of a slew of upcoming releases from the American publisher, the gaming portal will also provide chat services, an online support network, and host an online store for Ubi Soft products.

In addition to the site launch, Ubi Soft has announced that they will begin closed beta testing of Shadowbane sometime in early November. Originally announced in December 1999 by Wolfpack Studios, the game's developers, Shadowbane is slated to be released early next year.
