Microsoft Announces Xbox Beta Tests
Xbox

Microsoft has recently announced a Playtest program for upcoming PC and Xbox hardware and software. This program will allow players to play PC and Xbox games before they are released. Residents of the Seattle/Puget Sound region can fill out a brief survey on Microsoft's web site. After enrolling, selected gamers will be able to playtest PC and Xbox games and give feedback to Microsoft.

Microsoft claims that the playtesting sessions will be brief and flexible, for those who have tight schedules. Free bonuses will also be given out to participating players. Though it is unlikely that RPGs will be among the titles available to playtest at first, chances are good that they will find their place among the later beta-tested games. Interested gamers over the age of 13 can fill out an application at Microsoft's web site.
