The second chapter in GameArts' Grandia series, Grandia II, has shipped and is now available in stores nationwide. Grandia II is the third RPG to ship for the Sega Dreamcast this holiday season, the others being the recently-released Skies of Arcadia and Shenmue. Grandia II ships on one GD-ROM and also includes a soundtrack containing twelve selections from the game.

Grandia II is the newest game from GameArts, creators of the Lunar series and the original Grandia (all available now for the Sony PlayStation). The game is highly anticipated for a number of reasons, most notably its amazing graphics and innovative battle system. For this North American release of the game, publisher Ubi Soft hired the voice acting team from Metal Gear Solid, which should satisfy those who disliked the first Grandia due to its widely-panned English voice acting.
